About the Job:
The Retail Operations Specialist is responsible for leading the team supporting ONNIT’s internal sales team & highest volume customers. This candidate will manage & lead new customer onboarding with responsibilities ranging from administrative tasks to project management including customer set up, item management, order processing, EDI implementations and monthly sales outlooks. To be successful in this role, one will provide exceptional customer service and a focus on driving sales to reach individual and company revenue goals.
Responsibilities:
* Process sales orders, reviewing all orders for accuracy, minimum order quantities, and lead times.
* Lead and support high volume key accounts including onboarding, new item set up, sales order creation, and order fulfillment.
* Manage EDI relationship with SPS Commerce ensuring all onboarding is successful and any issues are routed to the correct internal owner
* Ensure key & new account sales orders are received, inputted, and processed by the expected delivery date
* Accountable for communicating shipping updates and shortages to key accounts & responding to customer needs with the highest level of customer service.
* Manage tools and resources needed for the fields sales team to execute in market (price lists, specifications, samples etc).
* Assist sales management with updating Daily Sales Order reporting and ad-hoc requests
* Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, accounting, and sales
* Execute off invoice discount activation in Magento
* Partner with IT on any improvements needed in sales order processing systems
* Pull reporting from Magento, Quicksights & Netsuite as needed
* 2-4 years experience in sales coordinating
* Proficient in Excel and ERP systems
* Extremely organized and self-motivated
* Time management skills - efficient with ability to multi-task and prioritize
* Sense of urgency to complete projects and tasks
* Ability to work independently and problem solve
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
