Position: Shipping Clerk

This position is responsible to ensure accuracy of all domestic, international, marketing, dealer and direct orders that are shipped from Vista Dental Products. The Shipping Clerk is responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in shipments and customer service by verifying correct quantities and products on orders, keeping accurate shipping information, preparing documents and adhering to the regulations of the Department of Transportation (DOT, IATA, and IMO) all while ensuring safety and cleanliness in all shipping areas. All warehouse personnel must maintain strict adherence to all shipping/warehouse documentation that has been established with strict adherence to the Quality Manual System Manufacturing Procedures in accordance with ISO 13485.

Job type: temp to hire

Shift: 7-3:30 pm M-F

Pay: $18.00/HR

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and screen orders
• Pull parts from picklist in warehouse
• Pack shipments using a pick list
• Record shipping data accurately; according to requirements
• Use Shipping software (WorldShip, Ship Manager, etc.)
• Prepare required shipping documents such as: shipping labels, invoices, bills of lading
• Adhere to the regulations of DOT, IATA, IMO
• Follow all ISO standards as they apply to the department
• Keep assigned work area cleaned
• Assist with cleanliness of entire warehouse
• Use reach truck and picker after finishing required training

• Shipping experience required.
• Order picking experience required.
• RF scanner experience required.
• Basic mathematical, (English) reading, writing and comprehension skills
• Must be able to communicate and understand oral instructions
• Must be able to stand, lift (up to 50lbs), and bend for an 8 + hour shift
• Must be able to operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks
• Basic Computer Skill
