Strategic Executive Assistant, Product and Engineering

About Paxos

Today’s financial infrastructure is archaic, expensive, inefficient and risky — supporting a system that leaves out more people than it lets in. So we’re rebuilding it.

We’re on a mission to open the world’s financial system to everyone by enabling the instant movement of any asset, any time, in a trustworthy way. For over a decade, we’ve built blockchain infrastructure that tokenizes, custodies, trades and settles assets for the world’s leading financial institutions, like PayPal, Venmo, Mastercard and Interactive Brokers.

About the role

In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Product and Head of Engineering as their main point of contact on all things related to coordination of calendars, team communication, and assisting with streamlining team operations – from meeting optimization, planning team events, budget management and more. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, and is excited about being a critical part of a world-class product and engineering organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has strong judgment, and can execute independently.

What you’ll do

  • Own and prioritize leadership’s time effectively. You will manage complex calendars, ensuring schedules align with key priorities. Using judgment and context, you will independently assess internal and external commitments, balancing meetings, projects, and engagements to maximize impact.
  • Organize and support internal team operations. You will support product and engineering leadership with agendas, meeting structures, and documentation for all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team events.
  • Foster and maintain a strong team culture. You will help create an environment where the team thrives, organizing celebrations, team-building events, and ways to recognize contributions. You will also ensure the operational culture—how teams collaborate, share knowledge, and drive execution—is well-structured and effective.
  • Craft clear and compelling written communications. You will draft updates for board meetings, leadership discussions, and external-facing communications, ensuring messaging is strategic, professional, and aligned with company priorities.
  • Act as a connector between teams. You will ensure seamless communication between product, engineering, and cross-functional teams, making sure the right information flows at the right time.
  • Build and execute seamless travel, event, and engagement coordination. You will manage domestic and international travel logistics, organize leadership’s participation in customer meetings, conferences, and speaking engagements, and ensure all details are handled for a smooth experience.

About you

  • 3+ years experience in a fast-paced role such as Consulting, Program Manager, Chief of Staff or  high-level Executive Assistant.
  • Strong sense of ownership in managing tasks independently, ensuring follow-through, and proactively solving problems without needing constant direction.
  • Ability to apply judgment to make decisions that optimize leadership’s time, balancing competing priorities across internal meetings, external engagements, and strategic projects.
  • Experience working across teams and interacting with senior leaders, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and driving alignment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise written communications and articulate ideas effectively in meetings, presentations, and external-facing materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity, take initiative, and create structure where needed to improve efficiency and team operations.
  • Experience planning small to medium scale events (up to 100+ people), including agendas, assisting with travel and accommodations, catering and and other misc event logistics
  • Passion for blockchain technology and its potential to transform payments and financial services.
