Intake Operations Specialist (U.S Healthcare Startup)

Work Arrangement: Fully remote, overlapping EST working hours

Job Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST or PST

Locations: Remote, open only to candidates based in the Philippines

Role Overview:

The Company is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Operator to ensure the seamless processing, accuracy, and management of critical healthcare data. This role plays a pivotal part in maintaining the integrity of patient records and supporting the company’s mission to deliver exceptional healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Management

  • Data entry and management of patient records, billing information, and other critical datasets.
  • Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all data processed.
  • Conducting regular audits of data systems to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.

2. Process Improvement

  • Collaborating with various teams to streamline data workflows and improve processes.
  • Maintaining compliance with HIPAA and other relevant data security regulations.

3. Immediate Onboarding Tasks

  • Onboarding and training in The Company’s data management systems and protocols.
  • Conducting initial quality checks on existing data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Inputting and verifying new datasets as per daily requirements.
  • Familiarizing themselves with compliance standards and internal workflows.

  • 2+ years of experience in data entry, database management, or a similar role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proven track record of maintaining data accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and database management systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and data confidentiality practices.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in healthcare or healthtech industries.
  • Exposure to electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to spot trends or anomalies in large datasets.
  • Proficiency in using Project Management Tools: Trello, Asana

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Have experience using Salesforce, Hubspot and reTool
