Head of Patient Services

We’re looking for an experienced Patient Care professional to join us on a full time, permanent basis in a newly created role, Head of Patient Services. You will be responsible for two teams, our Patient Care team and our new Patient Services team. Your focus will be on providing a best in class, integrated services for our patients and continually improving our systems and processes to deliver a seamless service. This role will be based from our Glasgow office and will work remotely. Occasional travel may be required.

This role is suited to a pharmacist with experience in digital health, patient care and providing remote services.

The Job

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be involved in the following: 

• Oversee the provision of remote clinical checks ensuring they are completed efficiently and accurately
• Oversee the provision of remote services ensuring they are carried out efficiently and accurately 
• Oversee and create process for dealing with online prescribing clinical queries  
• Deal with escalated complex inbound patient queries 
• Deal with escalated complaints  
• Oversee the management of the patient care team and patient services team 
• Prescribing asynchronous consultations 

Ideally, we’re looking for someone with the following: 

• Pharmacist and prescriber qualifications  
• Customer service experience and excellent communication skills  
• Management experience 
• Scaling teams experience 
• Full DBS check compliant
