JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience
Minimum Work Experience: Requires a minimum of 10 years of human resource management experience, with at least 8 years in a HR leadership role. Must be able to strategically and tactically evaluate and implement sophisticated HR related programs and initiatives; be able to work with a variety of organizational leadership to build consensus around HR strategy and tactics; have a demonstrated background in talent management and leadership management; as well as have a proven ability to attract and retain outstanding talent and assemble and motivate high performance teams.
Other: Reliable transportation to travel throughout the service area.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Human Resources Director is responsible for supporting implementation of organizational goals and objectives, promote employee satisfaction, engagement, retention, and well-being and improve quality of work life. The position has affiliate-wide responsibility and as such, travels to Affiliate centers throughout the State to perform/manage HR responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Leadership:
· Participates in leading an organizational culture that embraces the affiliate’s workplace values and works with staff to create and maintain a workplace environment reflective of those values.
· Participates in development and implementation of HR plans, strategies and efforts to support the achievement of the overall strategic vision and business objectives.
· As a member of the Senior Management Team, provide input and participates in the direction and leadership of the affiliate.

Management:
· Ensures the affiliate is equipped to attract, retain and motivate a high quality, diverse workforce enabling it to carry out its mission and achieve its objectives.
· Responsible for maintaining annual budget within purview and reviews/makes recommendations as appropriate.
· Participates in development, implementation and achievement of annual HR strategic plan.
· Supervises Human Resource departmental staff as assigned.
· Assists in providing leadership and guidance to HR function by overseeing employee relations, assist in administration of benefits, supervising HRIS/technology administration and data and metrics as identified.
Employee Relations:
· Oversees implementation and uniform application of human resources policies and procedures.
· Serves as an internal consultant and coach to company management, supervisors and employees on human resources issues that affect performance, employee retention and business relationships including but not limited to progressive discipline, performance improvement, employee development, termination, etc.
· Participates in design and implementation of recognition programs to support the strategic plan and organization values. Assists supervisory and management staff in improving the effectiveness of employee recognition.
· Functions as a facilitator and employee advocate with regards to workplace issues and concerns; meets with individual employees to hear complaints, and explain Planned Parenthood policy, management role and prerogatives.
· Attends departmental and administrative meetings and assists department directors and managers in the interpretation of human resources policy and procedures. Establishes a rapport in and between departments so can each understand the importance of human resources policies and procedures.
Performs other related duties as assigned in support of mission and as required to ensure delivery of consistent high-quality services.

11. Able to maintain and demonstrate strict confidentiality of all information

14. Has computer skills (Microsoft Office) and ability to learn/operate software programs.
