Platinum Technologies currently has an opportunity for a highly skilled Information Architect to support a federal customer in auditing and restructuring content. The specialist will be responsible for conducting a survey and audit of existing website content, developing new content structures and strategies, and implementing methodologies for stakeholder engagement. The role requires expertise in information architecture, content strategy, and project execution to ensure a seamless transition to a more meaningful and organized content structure.


This role is REMOTE. Candidate must reside in the United States. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

•Conduct a comprehensive survey and audit of existing www.trade.gov content.

•Develop a website structure to recategorize existing content into meaningful lanes.

•Create a transition plan for shifting from the current flat structure to the new structure.

•Identify and document requirements and the effort needed to execute the transition plan.

•Design and implement methodologies for stakeholder engagement to gather insights and define project requirements.

•Develop research reports, methodologies, and implementation plans to support project execution.

•Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of the new content structure with organizational objectives.

•Provide recommendations and best practices for information architecture and content strategy.

Required Skills.

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Architecture, Content Strategy, User Experience, or a related field.

•Minimum six (6)+ years of experience

•Obtain and maintain a Public Trust

•Proven experience in website content auditing, information architecture, and content categorization.

•Strong understanding of content management systems and digital content strategy.

•Experience with stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering.

•Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.

•Ability to develop structured methodologies for large-scale content reorganization.

•Experience working with government or public sector websites is a must.


Preferred Skills.

•Knowledge of best practices for web accessibility and user experience.

•Familiarity with digital transformation and content migration strategies.
