POSITION SUMMARY 


The Logistics Administrator plays a key role in supporting the logistics department by managing safety records and overseeing all purchase orders. This position ensures timely and accurate payments to vendors and drivers, contributing to the smooth operation of the logistics process. Reporting directly to the Director of Logistics, the Logistics Administrator is the sole administrative support for the logistics team. Performance is measured by the successful and timely completion of all purchase order entries every week.

Onsite in Fort Wayne, IN 


HOURS

Mon - Fri 8 AM - 5PM


COMPENSATION

This position offers a competitive compensation package, benchmarked to regional market standards, consisting of an hourly base pay plus the opportunity for quarterly profit sharing after one year of employment.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Complete all purchase orders weekly with our invoicing software. 
  • Reach out to carriers/drivers to collect and correct inaccurate or missing paperwork. 
  • Assist with filing and maintaining driver, safety, and equipment files. 
  • Oversee intake of walk-in customers and/or outside carriers at the front desk. 
  • Assist with other administrative duties as needed by office staff. 


REQUIREMENTS
  • 1–2 years in data entry, administrative work, or a similar role
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic setting
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on maintaining accurate records


$20 - $24 an hour
