Inventory Control Clerk

Shift - Tuesday - Saturday; 8:00a to 5:00pm

Hourly Rate - $22.00

Shearer’s Warehouse is seeking a hardworking individual with experience in receiving, inventory control and other warehouse duties as part of the team at our Fort Worth, TX location.  The selected candidate will need to be self-driven and have an ability to work cross functionally in this role.  Below are the day to day duties:  

• Cycle count and update inventory daily 
• Research and Reconcile inventory discrepancies
• Investigate locations in error and ensuring proper allocation of product
• Main point of contact between Operations, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Scheduling
• Load and unload inbound/outbound orders
• Provide current inventory snapshots per customer requirements and requests

What you bring to the best snacks table

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Working knowledge of RedPrairie or comparable WMS
• Working knowledge of Mapics or comparable ERP
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Exemplary mathematical and analytical skills
• Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed
• Able to lift 50 pounds without restrictions
• Must have strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies
• Outstanding problem solving skills
• Certified on PIT equipment
• Adaptable and flexible to an ever changing environment
