POSITION SUMMARY:

Our Cleaner is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting store environment for both customers and team members. They take ownership of cleanliness and presentation, ensuring that all areas; including the sales floor, stockrooms, restroom, and break space - are well-maintained and stocked with essential supplies. This role directly supports customer experience and brand excellence through exceptional store upkeep.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring the space is always presentable for customers.

Perform floor care maintenance, including using mops, vacuums, and other equipment.

Clean and restock restroom, stockroom, and associate break area to company standards.

Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, communicating needs to store leadership.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and loss prevention policies.

Assist in store recovery efforts throughout the day to maintain visual and operational excellence.

Support the store’s sustainability initiatives by following proper waste management and recycling procedures.

Foster a team-first culture, collaborating with other store associates to ensure a seamless customer experience.

COMMERCIAL AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Previous cleaning, janitorial, or maintenance experience preferred.

Ability to operate cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, etc.).

Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting objects (up to 50 lbs).

Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, based on business needs.

Salary Band: $19/per hour
