Job Description

PSI CRO is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Events Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various events, conferences, and meetings within the organization. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills to ensure the successful execution of events and the seamless experience for stakeholders. 

This is a hybrid position based out of our Research Triangle Park office in North Carolina. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Coordinate all trade-show event, conference, and business development meetings, from pre-planning to post-event activities. 
  • Execute business goals and marketing objectives, and strategies to drive engagement, leads, pipeline, and revenue. 
  • Maintain positive supplier relationships and protect confidential information while managing logistics and coordinating all aspects of meetings. 
  • Organize and streamline event processes, including research, booking, vendor management, planning, shipping, staffing, and budget management. 
  • Coordinate PSI materials for trade shows, conferences, business development meetings, and regional office depots. 
  • Enter and update information in Salesforce to maintain accurate records of events and attendees. 
  • Provide guidance and counseling to internal clients on best practices, ensuring successful outcomes for their events. 
  • Recommend trade shows and conferences aligned with PSI’s objectives and negotiate contracts with associations, sponsorships, hotels, and vendors. 
  • Improve planning and event execution efficiency by developing and implementing a database. 
  • Collaborate with the internal graphics team to develop graphics that align with PSI’s branding and messaging. 
  • Support thought leadership opportunities through educational placements and sponsorships, working closely with integrated marketing teams. 
  • Develop creative and experimental marketing plans to boost attendance and increase audience engagement, analyzing event success and proposing improvements. 
  • Monitor event opportunities and measure event ROI. 
  • Coordinate PSI materials for trade shows, conference, business development meetings, and regional office depots.  

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of previous experience in event planning and coordination.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, event management, or a related field. 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendors. 
  • Proficient in using event management software and tools. 
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.  
  • Working knowledge of design tools including Canva. 
  • Flexibility to travel as required for events. 
  • Ability to lift materials up to 35 pounds.
