About the role
As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will leverage your technical background and sales expertise to engage
customers, deliver tailored technical solutions, and close deals. You’ll be responsible for understanding
customer needs, conducting live product demonstrations, and driving sales growth. This role requires a blend
of sales acumen and technical knowledge to ensure customers are equipped with the right solutions for their
business.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead technical product demonstrations, offering detailed insights into our data integration solutions and related technologies.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets, with a focus on SaaS and IT solutions.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure the highest level of customer support and alignment with our solution sales strategy.
- Identify opportunities to enhance customer engagement and boost sales of our products.
- Stay updated on the latest product features, industry trends, and developments in SaaS, data integration, and IT solutions.
- Address customer inquiries and provide technical expertise to resolve product-related issues.
- Generate new leads and close sales through demonstrations, outreach, and relationship-building.
- Work closely with professional services and customer support teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Continuously enhance your technical sales skills through training and self-learning.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in software, SaaS, or IT sales, with a strong technical background.
- Solid understanding of B2B sales, particularly in the SaaS or tech industry.
- Ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in selling data integration, cloud, or SaaS-based solutions is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a passion for technology and innovation.
- Tech-savvy, with the ability to map technology to business needs and outcomes.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or similar platforms is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- MBA preferred but not required.
