About the role
We are looking for a Junior Relationship Manager to support our ambitious growth in the European insurance market. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop their career in relationship management, with a strong focus on building relationships with insurers and brokers. You will work alongside our senior business developers to support strategic partnership initiatives and contribute to the success of Qover’s insurance programs.
Your Job
Reporting to one of our Senior Business developers, you will be in charge of :
Partnership Development & Growth:
● Improve Qover’s market position and contribute to financial growth and long-term strategic goals.
● Collaborate with the vertical leads (FinServ/Banking and Motor Insurance) to determine and execute product and sales strategy.
● Identify business opportunities with prospects and existing clients.
● Foster strong, positive relationships with partners (existing and new) by aligning their business objectives with Qover's products and solutions.
● Develop and own customized proposals for each prospect, addressing their specific needs and interests to close business deals.
Sales & Negotiation:
● Negotiate, prepare, and close business deals mastering long sales cycles, RFPs, and complex solution sales.
● Work closely with senior-level management, marketing, product owners, and operations to ensure deals align with company objectives.
● Assist in refining product positioning by collaborating with marketing teams and product owners.
Execution & Strategy:
● Demonstrate strong organizational skills to drive complex project management programs and push deals live.
● Stay updated on market trends and business shifts to help develop new services, products, and distribution channels/countries.
● Work closely with the vertical leads, marketing, product owners, and operations to enhance overall product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
● Attend industry events and conferences, gathering insights on market trends and providing valuable feedback.
Your Profile :
● Open to learning about insurance programs and their impact on partnerships.
● Experience in supporting enterprise sales and long sales cycles/RFPs.
● 2-5 years of customer-facing experience in business development, partnerships, or sales.
● A background in Consulting (Big 4, BCG, Bain, etc.) is a strong plus.
● Knowledge of FinServ (Banking) or Motor Insurance is an asset.
● Proactive approach to client needs, with a focus on speed and execution.
● Strong relationship management and communication skills.
● Tech-savvy mindset—Digital/Tech affinity is a huge plus.
● Project management with multi stakeholders.
● Be fluent in English and another European language.
