Fabrication Operations Manager

As a Fabrication Operations Manager, you will oversee daily activities at multiple steel fabrication facilities, managing production, quality, and safety standards. Your responsibilities will include leading teams, optimizing manufacturing processes, enforcing safety protocols, managing fabrication schedules, and collaborating with quality control teams to ensure product integrity.

Candidates for the Fabrication Operations Manager role should have proven experience in a managerial capacity within steel fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment. Essential qualifications include strong knowledge of fabrication processes, excellent leadership skills, familiarity with safety regulations, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with scheduling software is advantageous.

The Fabrication Operations Manager position typically requires a 50-hour workweek, generally from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. While most of the travel will be day-to-day visits to our fabrication shops in York, PA, and Richmond, VA, there may be occasions that require an overnight stay. Flexibility in work hours, especially on weekends, is also needed.

Safety is a top priority in the Fabrication Operations Manager position. You will be responsible for enforcing safety protocols and raising awareness among your team. Your leadership will directly contribute to maintaining a secure working environment, which is critical for operational excellence and employee well-being.
