Location: Metro-Atlanta, Georgia with regular travel nationally
Salary: $89,250 - $96,000 p.a. full time equivalent, dependent on experience
Basis: full-time, part-time or flexible
Eligibility: You must be eligible to work in the U.S
The role
We are looking to appoint an experienced leader to join the Raspberry Pi Foundation's US team to grow the reach and impact of Code Club across the country.
Code Club is a global movement of free coding clubs where young people aged 9-16 years old develop the confidence to create with digital technologies. Code Clubs are run by teachers, educators, and volunteers from all walks of life and take place in schools and community settings, like libraries, museums, and maker spaces.
Reporting to the Executive Director, you will play a pivotal role in expanding and sustaining this network across the United States. You will develop and implement a national growth strategy, lead a skilled team, cultivate and manage key partnerships, and represent the Foundation to external audiences.
You will support and engage the community of Code Club mentors, leading initiatives to recruit volunteers and improve the quality of the learning experience through training and spreading best practices. You will also collaborate with colleagues across the Foundation to help enhance Code Club’s learning resources and digital platforms.
We are looking for an experienced leader with a deep understanding of the US education system, both schools and nonformal settings. You should have a proven track record of leading large scale national educational or volunteer-driven programs, as well as developing and managing strategic partnerships.
Strong management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills will be essential. You don’t need to be an expert in computer science or coding, but you do need to bring a passion for our mission and a willingness to learn.
We strive to make the Foundation a place where talented people who care about our mission can do the best work of their careers. We have a flexible and collaborative approach to all aspects of our work. If you’re the right person for the job, we’ll make it work for you, and you can be confident that you’ll be working with an exceptional team.

About us
The Raspberry Pi Foundation is a global education nonprofit with the mission to enable young people to realize their full potential through the power of computer science and digital technologies. In the US we operate through Raspberry Pi Foundation North America which is a registered 501(c)(3) organization.
Established in 2008 and first known for our product — the wildly successful Raspberry Pi computer — the Foundation has developed education programs, learning experiences, and products that are helping millions of young people learn vital new knowledge and skills
Through Code Club we support the world’s largest network of free informal computing clubs for young people. Tens of thousands of educators have taken our online courses and use our pioneering computing curriculum, and millions of young people use our free online learning resources. To deepen our understanding of how young people learn about computing and how to create with digital technologies, we conduct academic research, and we use that knowledge to increase the impact of our work and advance the field of computing education more widely.
Across all of our work, we engage young people who come from backgrounds that are traditionally underrepresented in the field of computer science or who experience educational disadvantage. We work all over the world, with teams in India, Ireland, Kenya, South Africa, UK and the USA, and partnerships with mission-aligned organizations in over 40 other countries.
You can read more about our mission, values, and goals in our Annual Review 2023 and our Strategy 2022–2025.
