About the position
As an AVP in Lowe’s Portfolio Credit team, you will manage the full life cycle of credit risk for Lowe’s Commercial portfolios. This role involves credit risk reporting and analytical support, focusing on identifying and managing credit risk throughout the cardholder life-cycle. You will collaborate with various teams to enhance customer experience and ensure effective credit and fraud strategies.
Responsibilities
• Perform and drive analytics to grow the business, control losses, and enhance customer experience.

• Work cross-functionally to drive smart growth and client satisfaction while ensuring safety and soundness in the portfolio.

• Monitor credit and fraud strategies, identifying emerging risks or opportunities and communicating trends to portfolio leadership.
,
• Prepare and present client-facing and leadership team presentations to facilitate informed decisions.
,
• Maintain and develop client reporting and ad-hoc analytics using SAS, Tableau, and other data tools.
,
• Provide guidance on risk appetite and prudent growth to the organization.
,
• Drive enhanced strategies using champion/challenger leanings to manage credit and fraud risk.
,
• Investigate and resolve customer and client issues, identifying strategy enhancement opportunities.
,
• Coordinate planning cycles with client teams to ensure consistency in business plans.
,
• Maintain effective challenge of critical decisions and business processes.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in a consumer and/or commercial Credit/Risk, Finance, or Analytics role; or 6+ years in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

• 3+ years’ experience analyzing large data sets to derive strategic actionable credit insights, including SAS, SQL, R, or Python programming skills.

• Annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

• Salary range of $75,000.00 – $130,000.00 USD Annual, adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro, and Seattle.
