Billing Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary, Billing Reimbursement Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile medical claims to collect revenue and reduce bad debt
• Manage appeals and denials based on payer guidelines in a timely manner
• Investigate denied services and take appropriate actions to resolve billing issues

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma at minimum required
• 2 years of experience in A/R, Billing, insurance, or healthcare; laboratory insurance billing preferred
• Working knowledge of coding systems such as CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and other relevant software
• Hands-on experience with medical billing and reimbursement processes
