IP Network Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IP NCC Tier II Technician responsible for the surveillance and repair of a multinational Ethernet and IP network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair Ethernet and IP equipment and protocols
• Communicate effectively with customers and other stakeholders to resolve network issues
• Document work efforts in the trouble ticketing system and perform maintenance activities

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing Ethernet & IP networks
• Associate's degree or equivalent from a technical school with related experience
• Experience with Juniper and/or Cisco routing equipment
• Basic knowledge of Ethernet Switching, IP Routing, BGP, MPLS, and Spanning Tree
• Experience with trouble ticketing and circuit inventory software
