Senior GL Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior GL Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead close activities across multiple global entities, including preparation and review of complex journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and reconciliations
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting by applying IFRS and local GAAP, reviewing accounting treatment against group policies
• Drive accounting process improvements by identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and improved reconciliation quality

Required Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent certification, e.g., Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting, including close ownership and financial reporting across multiple entities
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS/local GAAP) and experience preparing for audits
• Proven ability to implement and improve internal controls and process documentation
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and/or FloQast, or proven capability as a power user in similar ERP systems
