Senior Settlements Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Settlements Administrator to manage trade processing, clearance, and settlement of complex domestic trades and derivative instruments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper trade flow from the Front Office system to the Accounting System and confirm trades with counterparties
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies with brokers, custodians, and traders while monitoring failed trades
  • Set up security master files and derivative instruments in the accounting system, and reconcile margin cash movements
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Three years of directly related experience in investment administration within a financial industry firm
  • Two additional years of experience required if no degree is held
  • Strong knowledge of securities and derivative products and settlement methods
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
