Business Development Specialist
Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our UK-based financial solutions company. This is a fully remote role, based in South Africa, working UK hours (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm).
You will receive a basic salary of R28,000 per month.
Specialising in customised funding solutions, we help businesses secure the financial support they need, from start-up loans to asset finance and angel investments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through proactive cold calling, identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and promoting our diverse range of funding solutions.
- Proactively cold call potential clients to generate leads and build new business relationships.
- Identify and engage with potential clients to understand their funding requirements and present tailored financial solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Promote our suite of funding options, including start-up loans, unsecured and secured loans, working capital, invoice finance, merchant credit advances, angel investment, and asset finance.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that enhance brand visibility and attract new clients.
- Manage the sales pipeline from initial contact through to closing deals and after-sales support.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations to prospective clients.
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets through strategic planning and effective sales techniques.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the finance or funding sector.
- Demonstrated experience in cold calling and lead generation.
- Strong understanding of various funding solutions, including start-up and asset finance.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
- Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A self-starter with a passion for helping businesses thrive.
- Own laptop and reliable internet connection are essential.
