Risant Health is a nonprofit affiliate of Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, headquartered in the Washington, DC, metro area. The organization aims to expand and accelerate the adoption of value-based care in diverse, multi-payer, multi-provider, community-based health system environments. The organization operates separately from Kaiser Permanente's core integrated care and coverage model while leveraging nearly 80 years of expertise in value-based care.

Job Description

This role is crucial in advancing Risant Health’s vision by enabling successful integrations and supporting the realization of new value across Risant affiliates. Success in this role will vary by affiliated organization but will include ensuring consistency in key risk management practices, leveraging scale, sharing best practices, and building new opportunities together.

  • Engage directly with executives and management across Risant Health, Kaiser Permanente (KP), and affiliated organizations.
  • Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders to achieve strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with program/project managers, Health Plan leadership, Hospital/Medical leadership, Medical Groups, and key strategic partners.
  • Execute strategic initiatives that contribute to the continued development of Risant Health through integrating additional organizations and realizing synergistic opportunities.

Qualifications

  • At least six (6) years of project management experience, including medium-sized integrations and business transformation implementations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Business, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Operations, or a related field (flexible).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills (negotiation, listening, and communication) for effective interactions with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in developing dynamic, constructive working relationships with operational and physician partners.
  • Demonstrated success in transforming key business functions/operations in a large, matrixed enterprise environment.
  • Ability to influence and facilitate decision-making across diverse market and functional leaders.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development, fostering a culture of growth and improvement.
  • Decisiveness, action-orientation, personal integrity, and perseverance in challenging situations.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to efficiently resolve complex issues.
  • Agility, creativity, and innovation in approaching challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Experience in the managed care industry and/or integrated delivery systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency in collaboration software (e.g., SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Office Tools).
