About the team + role

At Robinhood, Executive Assistants are passionate about the integral role they play as a crucial partner to executives. We’re looking for someone who excels at multitasking, with excellent communication skills and an upbeat, self-starter attitude. You’ll partner closely with 2-3 senior leaders in our PeopleX organization, as well as have the opportunity to support other leaders in the future and potentially support team projects. This role relies heavily on the ability to be highly organized and responsive and the willingness to meet each challenge directly.

What you’ll do

  • Manage and prioritize complex calendars, including scheduling and coordinating internal and external meetings across multiple time zones, resolving scheduling conflicts, and navigating shifting priorities and requests.
  • Serve as an extension of the executive, taking on a wide breadth of tasks and responsibilities so that they can refocus on other areas as necessary
  • Book and manage travel for leaders
  • Report and manage expenses for leaders
  • Deepen your understanding of the responsibilities and tendencies of the executive you support so that you can anticipate needs proactively and work autonomously to get ahead of them
  • Manage programs and team building events, and proactively contribute insights and ideas that improve team process, efficacy, and/or culture
  • Own the planning and execution of the PeopleX All Hands meeting, including agenda development, speaker coordination, and logistics.
  • Support a strong and connected administrative team by fostering collaboration, sharing best practices, and contributing to a positive team culture.
  • Act as the liaison between the executive and the finance team, managing POs from creation to completion, tracking expenses, reconciling budgets, and ensuring timely approvals.
  • Flexibility to attend to a range of tasks, as requested

What you bring

  • 4-6 years of experience directly supporting one or more executives; bonus points for experience in supporting HR, Compensation, or People departments
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - you are optimistic, professional, eager to help, reliable, and are able to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Understanding and flexibility if things come up outside of typical business hours
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and a proven track record of taking ownership of multiple projects
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to exercise strong business judgment, meet deadlines, and balance multiple requests
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to quickly establish rapport with internal and external partners
  • Excellent problem solving skills, with an ability to recognize opportunities and develop ways of addressing them
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Slack and GSuite Apps: Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, & Slides
  • Bonus points for experience in Coda
  • Experience with and comfortability dealing with confidential information

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
