Role Overview
As a Creative Strategist, you’ll work alongside our marketing and creative teams to craft compelling, creative campaigns that challenge the norm and capture attention. You will develop and execute innovative concepts across various platforms, focusing on creating content that converts while maintaining a consistent brand voice. The role requires a creative thinker who can seamlessly shift between different styles depending on the audience, product, and campaign objective. Your ideas will not only drive engagement but will do so in a way that feels native to the audience and blends effortlessly into the advertising space.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Campaign Development: Ideate and develop creative strategies for video ads, social media campaigns, and other digital content that captures attention and drives conversions.
- Scriptwriting & Storytelling: Create impactful, engaging scripts that resonate with diverse audiences. Your content should feel natural, making the "ad" disappear into the experience.
- Adaptable Creativity: Tailor creative concepts to different personas and audience needs, ensuring the right tone and messaging for each demographic and marketing goal.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with marketing, design, and content teams to ensure creative ideas are aligned with the overall brand and marketing strategy.
- Ogilvy-Inspired Thinking: Draw inspiration from world-class creative strategies (such as those from Ogilvy), and apply those principles to craft innovative ideas on the spot.
- Concept Testing: Pitch and test creative concepts, continuously improving and refining based on feedback and performance.
- Content Optimization: Develop strategies to ensure that content and creative are continuously optimized for maximum impact across all channels and platforms.
- At least 3 years of proven experience as a Creative Strategist, or similar role within marketing or advertising.
- Strong scriptwriting abilities with a portfolio showcasing your ability to create compelling and engaging content.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively, adapting to different styles depending on audience, persona, and marketing goals.
- A deep understanding of digital advertising, especially video ads, social media campaigns, and native advertising.
- Familiarity with Ogilvy’s creative principles (or similar creative philosophies) and an ability to apply them to new projects.
- Experience developing ideas that blend seamlessly into the audience's experience, where the ad feels like part of the content.
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work with a cross-functional team to bring creative concepts to life.
- A results-driven mindset with the ability to balance creativity and performance.
- Experience in video content creation and concepting ideas that convert, even when working under tight timelines.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Meta Ads, video production, or ad campaign management.
- Knowledge of various advertising platforms and the best creative practices for each (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Experience working in e-commerce, gifting, or experience-based marketing.
