Sago is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to provide administrative leadership for the company’s Asia Pacific (APAC) business unit. This role is key in ensuring cross-functional integration, project execution, and bidding support. It will play an instrumental part in supporting Sago’s APAC business unit with administrative tasks and quality control checks, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with internal company standards.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, motivated, and dedicated to the success of the business unit, while also being a strong team player. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will report to the Senior Vice President of the APAC Business Unit and contribute to the success of the entire business unit. This role focuses on fostering internal partnerships across various Sago functions, including finance, sales enablement, product teams, and operations. This is a remote position, offering the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and clients across North America and Asia.
- Report to the Senior Vice President of the APAC Business Unit and provide administrative support for intercompany compliance requirements for Sago’s APAC operations team. This includes ensuring that project managers, project coordinators, and recruiters follow relevant processes.
- Partner with the Director of Project Management (APAC) to understand the project execution process from start to finish, ensuring the operational team adheres to internal protocols. Responsibilities include documentation archiving, following up with clients for cost approvals, and researching potential suppliers to support fieldwork execution.
- Occasionally support Sago’s sales leadership by identifying appropriate partners and suppliers, collecting costs and feasibility information for international suppliers in key markets where Sago does not have a physical presence, and providing bidding support as needed.
- Build relationships with internal cross-functional teams across Sago (including finance, product, operations, and sales) to deliver reliable support and assist the Director of Project Management in overseeing qualitative market research projects.
- Consult with the Director of Project Management and the SVP of the APAC Business Unit to understand their needs and offer creative solutions to complex challenges and ensure compliance with internal processes directed by Sago’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
- Occasionally join project kick-off calls and liaise with internal team members (e.g., recruiting) to ensure all parties are fully informed about project specifications, client needs, timelines, and responsibilities. This may include collecting purchase orders and canvassing client cost approvals for invoicing purposes. Engage with your leaders and your peers to address any challenges and facilitate teamwork to resolve any issues.
- Proactively contribute to departmental process improvements, while maintaining platform proficiency by attending Qual Product trainings.

- May be required to travel to support clients and fieldwork execution, if necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of project coordination experience preferred.
- Cultural understanding of APAC markets, particularly in China, Korea, and Japan, is an asset.
- Proficiency in oral and written communication skills in Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese is an asset. Experience working within Digital systems / platforms a plus.
Computer Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel required).
