Production Planner, Brands

What's the Short Version?

The Production Planner, Brands is responsible for managing and executing inventory depth targets for specific product categories.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Accurately analyze and forecast style, color and size demand for specific product categories.
• Manage monthly projections and adjustments.
• Manage weekly or monthly management of orders to support target depth of inventory and flow plans.
• Proactively react to changes in business and work with internal and external partners to replenish inventory as quickly as possible.
• Partner with Production Planning Assistant to monitor orders and to expedite as needed.
• Manage the Production Planning process for specific brands; effectively build and establish strong relationships with key supplier’s customer service representatives.
• Provide key data for business partners to ensure accurate setup of brand.
• Maintain updated costing in system for all styles for the brand.
• Communicate purchase orders directly to Brand customer service representative.
• Review website to ensure product descriptions and other information is accurately presented.
• Accurately prepare and review drop ship orders and submit to third party suppliers for fulfillment.
• Monitor production schedules and estimated in-stock dates and communicate to internal departments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

What Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of applicable work experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Detail oriented individual with strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions with little supervision.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Responsive to staff needs including professionalism, respect, and consideration of others.
• Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to change in the work environment.
• Be able to work under pressure within a time frame.

What's Our Offer?

Salary Range: You`ll earn between $70,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on experience.

Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.

Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?

Hybrid: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions.

SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
