Internship - ESG Solutions - Sales Development Representative (f/d/m)

Are you studying business administration, commerce, technology, engineering, or natural sciences? We are seeking a proactive and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern for at least a period of 4 months to join our expanding team of experts in software, ESG, and Financial Services. If you are excited to work at the intersection of technology and sustainability making an impact, do have a passion for client interaction and are interested in building the foundation for a successful career in sales, this role might be for you.

This position can be based in our Munich, Berlin or Walldorf offices or remote from any location in Germany, with a willingness to travel up to 10% and grants the opportunity to transition into a flexible working student or fulltime role afterwards.

SAP Fioneer ESG Solutions offers financial institutions a comprehensive solution to address their end-to-end ESG challenges across all departments. This cloud-native product revolves around an ESG Data Orchestration and KPI Engine, which transforms ESG data into actionable insights by integrating both internal and external ESG-related data sources to calculate key performance indicators in line with leading industry frameworks for their asset portfolio (e.g. CO2 emissions). The applications of this platform extend from regulatory compliance towards climate mitigation to steering clients portfolios towards net-zero goals and exploring business opportunities like transition financing. 

• Study: Business administration, commerce, technology, engineering, or natural sciences 

• Skills: You are excited about Sales, ESG & technology, you are an active listener who communicates in a targeted and confident manner and always acts proactively

• Own lead generation: Strategically target and prospect accounts in Fioneer’s core markets through online research, mail and phone outreach  

• Perform initial discovery: Leverage proven SaaS sales frameworks (e.g. BANT, MEDDPICC) to uncover prospects' solution needs and challenges   

• Support ESG expert sellers: Prepare customer presentations & demos, conduct research & analysis on various topics. 

• Draft outreach campaigns: Closely observe market trends to help craft outreach campaigns together with sales and marketing 

• CRM maintenance: Maintain accurate lead and client data in our CRM system 

• Collaborative, independent & responsible work: Strong desire to work in a collaborative environment while having the autonomy to drive outcomes independently and as part of a team. 

• Excellent communication skills: Proficiency in both written and verbal communication in German and English. 

• Travel: Willingness to travel up to 10%
