Job Description

The Oracle Planning Specialist reports to the FP&A Systems and Data Manager. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) and/or Hyperion Planning.

As a technical expert, you will lead the maintenance, enhancement, and support of Oracle EPBCS, ensuring the integrity and reliability of the planning and reporting cubes.

What You’ll Do:

  • Dimension Management: Manage and maintain dimensions within the Oracle EPBCS environment, ensuring they are configured and aligned with business requirements. This includes managing hierarchies, attributes, and maintaining metadata integrity.
  • Business Rules and Groovy Scripting: Develop, test, and maintain complex business rules and Groovy scripts to automate processes and enhance system functionality.
  • Data Management: Oversee data integration processes, including the setup and maintenance of data management tasks, ensuring accurate data flows between Oracle EPBCS and other financial systems.
  • Data Maps: Design and manage data maps to facilitate efficient data movement and transformation across different plan types and cubes.
  • Security Maintenance: Implement and manage security protocols within Oracle EPBCS, including user roles, access controls, and audit logs, to ensure the system's security and compliance.

The Team You’ll Join:

The Oracle Planning Specialist is part of Finance and Business Services (FABS); a cross functional APAC function. Offering hybrid working arrangements, both remote and in our Melbourne office in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related Data field.
  • Experience with developing in Oracle EPM, or Hyperion Planning
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid functional understanding of corporate performance management processes such as planning, forecasting, close and consolidation
  • Ability to work accurately and achieve operational goals under the pressure of tight deadlines
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience using Confluence/Jira for documentation will be an added advantage
