Overview of Job Role

The Regional Commercial Director will oversee the schedule operations for the business, ensuring we support sales in revenue generation, reduce local costs and maximizes margins. The Regional Commercial Director will lead the Schedule Team in the scheduling of courses and resources in accordance with the company policies.

Key Areas of Responsibility

The primary responsibility of the Regional Commercial Director is to work with the Schedule Managers and ensure that Global Knowledge’s schedule aligns with the company plans. The Regional Commercial Director will lead the Schedule Teams:

• To ensure sound commercial principles are applied to all events and schedules in line with operational plans.
• To ensure that trainer utilisation is in line with or exceeds company targets.
• To ensure that external trainer day rates are in line with or are below company targets.
• To maintain the schedule and ensure maximum profitability of events
• To follow operational process and procedure, allowing GK to efficiently manage low fill events, maximise opportunities and maintain efficiencies.
• To maintain sales responsiveness in line with SLA’s and respond/assist with all sales enquiries.
• To implement the training schedules in line with AOP.
• To work with Regions Product managers and align schedules to meet local demands
• To work with Regional Sales RVP’s and ensure our schedules can meet expected revenue targets
• To display the GK Can-do attitude

Experience / Qualifications Required

Essential

• Schedule processing, organisational skills, data analysis, training administration and the use of Office packages.

Desirable

• Ideally the job holder will have significant experience in a similar role.
