Key Responsibilities:
- Bring thought partnership and creative solutions to our Chief People Officer, helping to lead and drive change focused on the People Partner function across the US
- Help foster a work environment conducive to success, with a strong focus on creating a culture of inclusion, growth, and operational excellence
- Collaborate with People team colleagues to implement and support initiatives centered on Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and People operations and experience
- Work closely with People Partners in our EU location to share and develop new strategies and programming
- Coach and consult leadership and management through tailored advice on team structure/dynamics, people development, recognition, and engagement strategies that nurture collaboration and amplify the SoundCloud culture vibe
- Guide our People managers in organizational development and team performance
- Navigate change management and organization design while supporting employees
- Manage, resolve, and engage with employees on complex employee relations matters, cultural initiatives, and day-to-day process development and improvement
- This role will oversee one direct report
Background & Experience:
- 10+ years as an HR Professional with experience managing teams
- Strategic and hands-on: Able to comfortably move between strategic business partners and day-to-day HR operations
- Passionate leadership and relationship-building skills with the proven capability to drive change
- Strong communicator who can work both autonomously and in highly collaborative situations
- Ability to coach, support and empower teams to make the best people decisions
- Experienced with US labor and employment topics, as well as all core HR functions and policies
- Skilled in employee relations, change management, and workforce issues
- A high level of ownership, execution, confidentiality, and attention to detail are a must
- Passionate and knowledgeable about our product is a plus!

The salary range for this role is $210,000 - $240,000 annually. The final salary offered will be determined based on relative experience, skills, internal equity, and location. We also offer a generous total rewards program - read more about additional benefits and perks below!
