AQA Engineer (QA)

SquarePeg is seeking an experienced and motivated AQA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. As an AQA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through the development of automated test cases. You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements, design test strategies, and implement automated testing processes that enhance our efficiency and reliability. Your expertise in automation frameworks will be instrumental in driving quality improvements and reducing time-to-market for our solutions in the accounting industry. Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for our applications.
  • Design and develop testing frameworks and tools to streamline the testing process.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and ensure coverage.
  • Analyze test results and identify areas for improvement in the development process.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of quality across the organization.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies based on risk analysis and testing findings.
  • Document test cases and results accurately for traceability.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an AQA Engineer or a similar role, with a focus on automated testing.
  • Strong understanding of automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
  • Experience with coding and scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
