About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Events to lead the Foundation’s global events programme. You’ll own the full lifecycle of our presence at world-class events—from marquee conferences to hackathons and regional gatherings—and design experiences that inspire, connect, and grow the Starknet ecosystem.

This is a senior leadership role reporting to the Head of Marketing. With a significant annual budget, a talented team to build and manage, and strong support from leadership, you’ll have the autonomy and backing to create meaningful, high-impact moments across the globe.

We’re looking for someone who brings a rare mix of creative vision, operational excellence, and strategic thinking—someone who understands how events can move ecosystems forward and tie directly to broader organisational goals.

How You Can Make an Impact

Strategic Leadership

○ Develop and execute a global events strategy aligned with Foundation goals

○ Design and manage a portfolio of summits, hackathons, and community events

○ Define KPIs and success metrics that connect events to real-world impact

Budget Ownership

○ Own and manage a material annual events budget

○ Ensure strategic and cost-effective allocation of resources

○ Lead vendor negotiations and oversee contracts to maximise ROI

Team Leadership

○ Build and lead a high-performing events team

○ Foster a collaborative and accountable culture with clear growth paths

○ Coordinate effectively across Marketing, Ecosystem, Growth, and Product teams

Event Design and Execution

○ Oversee all phases of the event lifecycle—from concept to wrap-up

○ Deliver exceptional experiences with tight logistics and high attention to detail

○ Manage risk and compliance while ensuring events are delivered on time and on budget

Ecosystem Engagement

○ Cultivate relationships with ecosystem partners, builders, and the wider community

○ Secure co-hosting and sponsorship opportunities that expand reach and impact

○ Embed inclusivity and diversity into event design and participation

What We’re Looking For

Must Have

○ Proven experience designing and leading a global events strategy, including summits, hackathons, and virtual events

○ Strong budget management skills, with experience overseeing an annual budget of $XM+

○ Track record of building and managing high-performing teams (3+ direct reports)

○ Confidence and presence to represent the Foundation with senior stakeholders

○ Experience using ROI metrics to evaluate event success and inform leadership

Should Have

○ Familiarity with blockchain trends, audiences, and ecosystem players

○ Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

○ Excellent vendor and partner negotiation experience

Nice to Have

○ Background in producing events for a tech-focused audience

○ Experience managing global event production, including understanding local regulations and cultural nuances
