Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Rehabilitation - Contract

Pay: $1550 weekly travel, $1350 weekly local

Start Date: 2/24 or 3/3

Hours per week: 36 hours

Contract Length: 13 weeks

-Must have American Heart BLS

-Must have Indiana LPN license or compact LPN license

-Can start anytime, must be able to work 3 shifts per week

As an LPN in a rehabilitation facility, you will provide essential nursing care to patients recovering from surgery, illness, injury, or chronic conditions. You will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians, ensuring the delivery of compassionate, patient-centered care in a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Monitor and record vital signs, assist with daily activities, and provide basic care including wound dressing changes and administering prescribed medications.
• Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans and ensure the timely execution of treatments.
• Documentation: Accurately chart patient information, including medical history, treatments, and progress notes, adhering to facility protocols and healthcare regulations.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on post-rehabilitation care, health maintenance, and recovery plans, ensuring understanding of medications and exercises.
• Support: Provide emotional support to patients, offering encouragement and reassurance throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure patient safety by following infection control procedures, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and complying with all regulatory requirements.
