Accountant (Intern or Fractional)

Our client is looking for a dedicated Accountant to join their team (internship or fractional). This role is perfect for individuals seeking to balance personal commitments while contributing to our clients' financial success. You will play a crucial role in overseeing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and producing detailed reports that help steer strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain financial records and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations and help in the month-end closing processes.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation and support.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as an accountant or similar role, with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work part-time hours that suit your schedule.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
