Scheduling Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily schedules for waste collection routes based on customer needs and operational capacity.
• Communicate with drivers to ensure timely and efficient execution of routes and address any scheduling conflicts.
• Manage incoming client inquiries regarding service schedules, changes, and inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Utilize scheduling software to create and maintain accurate route schedules while optimizing the use of resources.
• Collaborate with the operations team to adjust schedules in response to changes in service demand or driver availability.
• Monitor and analyze scheduling efficiency and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, or monthly reports related to scheduling and service delivery.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in scheduling or logistics coordination.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.
• Proficient in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing scheduling issues.
