The BI Analyst will be responsible for identifying and reviewing new business opportunities, researching client markets, competitors, assessing RFIs, RFPs, contracts, budgets and trends to assist the Business Development organization in making sound business decisions. This role works directly for the Business Intelligence Group Manager and in close collaboration with executive management and Capture Managers. The BI analyst will maintain the accuracy of the pipeline and provide real-time reporting and forecasting to senior leadership.
Responsibilities - Lead development, research, and identification of relevant opportunity-specific information across all phases of the capture process
- Perform market research to qualify new business opportunities, including analysis of customers, capability gaps, budgets, incumbent intel, competitors, contract types, and workforce
- Assist Capture Managers in all phases of capture as required
- Responsible for posting and evaluating new contracts (IDIQ & GWAC) opportunities and developing action plans for response
- Manage and maintain pipeline using CRM tool, ensuring accuracy and reporting on a weekly basis
- Research and identify new opportunities using industry GovCon databases and tools to maintain a healthy and robust pipeline
- Produces metrics, and forecasting briefs as required
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Ability to work across multiple organizations to build and maintain strong partnerships in support of new capture activities
- Research and analyzes industry market trends for long-term planning
- Provide assistance and backup to Proposal Group as required
Required Skills and Experience- 1-3 years of experience with pipeline management and Business Intelligence research for federal government contracts
- Experience with using CRM tool
- Strong analytical skills
- Proposal management experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to reach across cross-functional aisles and the various capability groups across the organization in order to drive growth
- Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
Preferred Skills and Experience:- Experience with both civilian and DoD Government agencies
$95,000 - $120,000 a year
