Enterprise Application Support Specialist (ERP & HRMS) - Banking

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Support Specialist with a focus on ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and HRMS (Human Resource Management Systems) to support and maintain critical banking applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in supporting ERP and HRMS solutions, ensuring their functionality, resolving technical issues, and optimizing application performance to meet the operational needs of the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ERP & HRMS Application Support: Provide day-to-day support for ERP and HRMS systems, ensuring optimal performance, and quickly resolving any incidents or service requests.
  • Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to ERP and HRMS applications, working closely with internal teams and vendors to resolve system errors, data inconsistencies, and performance problems.
  • System Monitoring & Maintenance: Proactively monitor and maintain the ERP and HRMS systems, ensuring that all components are running efficiently and in compliance with security protocols.
  • System Upgrades & Patches: Assist in the planning and implementation of software upgrades, patches, and new releases, ensuring that the applications remain up-to-date and secure.
  • Data Integrity & Compliance: Ensure data integrity across all ERP and HRMS modules (finance, HR, payroll, procurement, etc.), ensuring that the systems comply with banking industry regulations, internal policies, and legal requirements.
  • User Support & Training: Provide user support, troubleshooting guidance, and training for bank employees using the ERP and HRMS systems. Assist with onboarding new users and providing ongoing training on system functionality and best practices.
  • Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with internal teams, including IT, finance, HR, and compliance, to identify system improvements and enhancements. Document issues, fixes, configurations, and updates to ensure comprehensive knowledge sharing and system continuity.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize the performance of ERP and HRMS applications, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Incident Management: Manage incidents, prioritize based on severity, and ensure timely resolution. Participate in root cause analysis and propose long-term solutions for recurring issues.
  • Project Support: Assist in the implementation and integration of new ERP/HRMS modules or third-party applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in supporting ERP and HRMS applications, ideally within the banking or financial services industry.
    • Hands-on experience with popular ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and HRMS solutions (e.g., Workday, PeopleSoft, SuccessFactors).
    • Solid understanding of banking operations, including finance, HR, payroll, procurement, and compliance requirements.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of database management (SQL), data integration, and reporting tools.
    • Familiarity with system configuration, troubleshooting, and integration.
    • Experience with cloud-based solutions, APIs, and third-party application integrations is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with technical teams and non-technical users.
  • Project Management: Experience in handling system upgrades, maintenance, and user training projects from initiation to completion.
  • Compliance & Security: Understanding of compliance standards, data security, and best practices in the banking industry.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Certifications in ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or HRMS platforms are a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with banking regulations and specific financial services applications is highly beneficial.
