3rd Line Technician

We are seeking an experienced 3rd Line Support Technician to join our IT team, focusing on the management and support of our modern workplace environment with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Intune. The ideal candidate will handle complex technical issues, participate in IT projects, and drive the implementation of modern workplace technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Intune/JAMF/Kandji Management: Administer device management, application deployment, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Modern Workplace Management: Lead initiatives to enhance our modern workplace, including Windows Autopilot, Azure AD, and conditional access policies.
  • 3rd Line Support: Resolve escalated issues where standard troubleshooting fails, including complex network, hardware, software, and security problems.
  • Project Participation: Actively engage in IT projects, from planning through to implementation, particularly in areas like endpoint security, automation, and system upgrades.
  • Azure Integration: Utilize Azure AD for identity management, ensuring seamless integration with other Microsoft services.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation for support processes and solutions; share knowledge with junior support staff.
  • Incident Management: Lead in critical incident response, root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, with at least 3 years in a 3rd line role or similar.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or similar Azure or Microsoft qualifications preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of Intune, SCCM, and other modern management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience with project management methodologies is advantageous.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent understanding of Window Server, Azure, AD/Entra, MDM platforms.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
