Pay Range: $18.00/hr.

An Intern is available with The City of Fort Worth Human Resources Department, Talent Acquisition Division. In this role you will learn aspects of attracting, hiring top talent for our organization. The Intern will support the Talent Acquisition process including candidate evaluation, screening/interviewing and offer/onboarding process.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Working towards a specialization in a vocational field, High School, Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in a related field of study and no previous work experience is required.
- The incumbent must be enrolled in a formal course of vocational or college related field of study and cannot be in the position longer than 12 months.
The Talent Acquisition Intern job responsibilities include:
- Responsible for recruiting activities from candidate evaluation, through onboarding, to final hire
- Participate in job fairs, partnership events, networking events and project as assigned
- Collects, compiles, and analyzes data from various sources to create reports and other informational documents
- Responds to internal and external customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Creates and maintains files, spreadsheets, and databases;
- Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner and maintains communication with Department staff on assignments
Working Conditions and Physical Demand
Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically require touching, talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions.
Sedentary Work – Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
