The Florida Panthers are a community focused organization led by an authentic management team that served our country and now serves the South Florida community.  The organization is on the rise and is experiencing success both on and off the ice.  Led by General Manager Bill Zito, the Panthers are coming off their best season in franchise history, entering the 2024-2025 season as Stanley Cup Champions.  Off the ice, the business is experiencing growth across all key metrics and our revenue is at an all-time high.  The organization is expanding outside of Amerant Bank Arena via the renovation of the FTL War Memorial in downtown Fort Lauderdale.  This state-of-the-art ice facility features two regulation-size rinks, including a new team practice rink with stadium seating, and a 4,000-capacity music theatre for live entertainment.  The future is bright, and we are very proud of what we are building in South Florida.

 

Job Title: Partnership Solutions Analyst

Job Summary:
The Partnership Solutions Analyst will play a key role in driving the success of the Florida Panthers Corporate Partnership team by analyzing industry trends, identifying new opportunities, and creating compelling sales materials. This role is ideal for a creative, brand-focused individual with a passion for sports sponsorship, strong storytelling skills, and the ability to translate data into impactful insights. The analyst will develop impactful partnership proposals for both new prospects and current partners, assist in prospecting and competitive analysis, and contribute to the overall growth of the team’s partnership strategy. The ideal candidate would find it fulfilling getting to work with brands from various industries with different goals and objectives and constantly learning a new industry.


Job Functions:

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

    • Ideate new and creative sponsorship programs that the sales team will take to corporate partner prospects.
    • Partner with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Ops., Community, and Foundation) to create new revenue generating platforms for the Corporate Partnerships sales team.
    • Develop sales enablement tools for new business including client proposals, one-sheeters, and infographics, ensuring they effectively communicate partnership value.
    • Work closely with sales team to help to identify the business objectives of a prospective client and translate those needs and goals into creative and unique sponsorship activation plan.
    • Take an innovative approach to partnership proposals; reset the industry standard and build best-in-class proposals using brand and KPI focused activations going above and beyond traditional sponsorship packages.
    • Monitor sponsorship and sales trends across the NHL and global professional sports leagues to identify new opportunities and best practices.
    • Conduct various research projects, including prospecting, competitive analysis, industry best practices, and trends among current partners.
    • Manage the trafficking of partnership assets between account representatives and internal/external stakeholders, including but not limited to radio, print, digital, mobile app, outdoor marquee, LED, Virtual Slot & Digitally Enhanced Dasherboards, and IPTV.
    • Support current partner initiatives by providing data-driven insights, strategic recommendations, and innovative ideas to help achieve partner KPIs.
    • Assist in the development of recaps and proof of performance reporting to showcase sponsorship ROI and campaign success.
    • Stay up to date on emerging sponsorship activations, brand marketing strategies, and fan engagement trends to help evolve partnership offerings.
    • Work together with the Creative Coordinator to design and refine mock-ups, pitch decks, and other sales materials that bring partnership concepts to life.
    • Help maintain organization and alignment within the Corporate Partnerships department through trackers, internal reports, and other organizational tools to ensure efficiency and communication across teams.

     

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Establish interdepartmental relationships and work cross-department on partnership solution development.
    • Other duties as assigned

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
    • 2-4 years of experience in corporate partnerships, agency, or digital media/marketing experience.
    • Must be adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
    • Extremely organized and detail oriented, resourceful, quick learner and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously with quick turnarounds.
    • Knowledge and interest in sports and live entertainment a strong plus.
    • Energetic, positive attitude with the ability to take constructive feedback.
    • Working proficiency to work in CS6 (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and visualization tools (Visme, PowerPoint) a plus.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to problem solve and approach situations in a solution-oriented manner
    • Highly organized with the ability to work on multiple projects at one time
    • Experience using a CRM system (KORE, Salesforce, etc.)
    • Experience using Sponsorship Tracking software (i.e. Nielsen, Blinkfire, Sponsor United, Tableau)
    • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, based on business needs and events

    Work Environment

    This position works in an arena where the noise level is generally high, crowd traffic is heavy, temperatures are variable – often cold; lights are bright or dark with occasional exposure to flashing lights and pyrotechnics.

     

    Physical Demands:

     Walking – Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.

    Standing – Particularly for sustained periods of time.

    Lifting - Raising objects from a lower to a higher position (up to 25 pounds) or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles.

    Balancing – Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling and walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces. This factor is important if the amount of balancing exceeds that needed for ordinary locomotion and maintenance of body equilibrium.

    Hearing - Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.

     

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a Full-Time position. Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and occasional holidays.
