Technical Support Engineer - (SAAS Industry)

Job Description:

Technical Training & Support The Client is an Indian MNC specializing in web-based business tools. They operate in 14 locations worldwide, with global headquarters in India and corporate headquarters in Pleasanton, California. With over 20,000 employees, they continue to expand, recently opening an office in Johannesburg, South Africa. Client is currently seeking an articulate and experienced Technical Trainer to join our team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting online demos and customer trainings.
  • Handling 4 to 5 training sessions per day or equivalent support requests.
  • Providing technical support services via voice, email, and chat.
  • Gathering and analyzing requirements.
  • Performing systematic troubleshooting.
  • Responding to RFI requests and promptly following up.
  • Collaborating with various teams within Client to resolve technical issues.
  • Willingness to travel within the country.
  • Delivering accurate and timely solutions to customers.

Essential Skills:

  • A genuine enthusiasm for embracing new technologies.
  • A strong desire for continual learning and personal development.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Fundamental understanding of MySQL.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs.
  • Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with third-party integration tools (e.g., Postman, Zapier).
  • Robust problem-solving abilities paired with a customer-centric approach.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a role engaging directly with clients.
  • Adept at implementing changes to meet customer needs.
  • Skilled in documenting and communicating technical issues effectively.
  • Preferred qualification in IT or a related technical field.
  • Capable of multitasking across various systems and applications while troubleshooting technical problems on multiple platforms, including Windows, Mac OSX, Servers, and Mobile Devices.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work accurately in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with software platforms like Client, Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, HubSpot, etc.
