Lead Host

We’re a multiple award-winning employer with an opening for a full-time Lead Host to ensure that residents and guests have a positive experience within the restaurants.Lead Host greet residents, family members, guests, and/or staff with a friendly demeanor; assist with seating and monitor food service according to dining standards to assure a pleasurable dining experience. The Lead Host creates meaningful moments in the lives of residents, visitors, and staff by demonstrating friendly welcoming behaviors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Greets and welcomes residents and guests with a smile and welcoming
Assists with seating while maximizing dining room space and facilitates timely
Oversees quick and efficient reset of
Manages Reservation system including taking and canceling reservations, managing walk ins and
Creates meaningful moments in the lives of residents, visitors, and staff by demonstrating welcoming and friendly behaviors.
Inspects workstation areas for completion of assigned side
Helps to monitor workflow between service team and production
Assists with coordination and set up of themed meals and
Assists with monitoring of safe food handling, proper personal hygiene, uniform compliance, and proper sanitation procedures within the department.
Assists Residents with online technology including online ordering, online reservations and online meal plan management.
Identifies areas for improvement, proposes possible solutions, and participates in data collection and process changes as part of the Quality Assurance Process Improvement process.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Required:

1+ years of experience in a dining service
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and to make independent
Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication
Knowledgeable with technology
English language proficiency.

Preferred:

Certification, or ability to obtain certification, in BASSET
