Client Engagement Specialist (Nontraditional Lawyer Position)

The Village Law Firm is seeking a friendly, outgoing individual to join our team as a Client Engagement Specialist. In this role, you will help potential clients of the firm understand the complexities of estate planning and guide them toward the legal solution that best meets their needs. 

This is a great opportunity for a lawyer who loves the law but not necessarily drafting legal documents or long and unpredictable hours.  It is also a great opportunity for someone looking to gain exposure to the rewarding field of estate planning.

•  Licensed to practice law in New York.

• Warm, friendly, and empathetic disposition.
• Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills.
• Confident making presentations.
• Ability to explain complicated legal concepts in a way that is easy for non-lawyers to understand.
• Desire to continually improve your skills and knowledge.
• Independent, self-starter who thrives on immersion in a rapidly changing environment and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proactive, can-do attitude, with great follow-through and resourcefulness along with attention to detail.
• Prior sales experience desirable but not necessary.
• Experience with estate planning or administration is desirable but not necessary.

Compensation

$110k - $230k, based on performance
