The Wonderful Company is looking to add a dynamic Desktop Support Engineer to our team! This person will provide front-line support services for The Wonderful Company Employees. If you are a self-starter who is able to work independently while prioritizing various tickets, we want to hear from you!

This position will be based at our West Los Angeles HQ and working 5 days per week in the office.

Job Description

  • Install and troubleshoot software - antivirus, firewall, Anti-Spyware, etc...
  • Repair and configure Information System Hardware
  • Troubleshoot and repair broken or defective computer hardware ensuring the functionality of computers and computer related equipment throughout the organization
  • Computer moves, adds & changes
  • Reload operating systems
  • Install and configure software for The Wonderful Company based on the information systems policies and procedures
  • Assist with Network Administration including new user setup and removal, active directory moves, adds & changes, windows general troubleshooting
  • Printer maintenance - moves, adds, changes, toner/ink supply management
  • Backup for general telephones including:
    • Telephone new user setup & training
    • Telephone general troubleshooting
  • Coordinate with vendor for service / repair
  • Physical Layer (Wiring) Connectivity
  • Mobile device management

Qualifications

  • A.A degree or degree from Technical Trade School and 1 to 3 years of experience in related field or equivalent combination education and experience
  • A+ Certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Products - Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, diagnosing/replacing faulty components, and knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux basics
  • Experience with software installation, OS troubleshooting, user account management, system restores, and Active Directory (password resets, account unlocks, group policies)
  • Basic knowledge of IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, subnetting, Wi-Fi vs. wired troubleshooting, and diagnostic commands (ping, ipconfig, tracert)
  • Experience with ITSM/ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Zendesk, Jira) and remote desktop tools (RDP, TeamViewer, BeyondTrust)
  • Knowledge of basic cybersecurity principles (password policies, phishing awareness, MFA), antivirus management, and security scans
  • Experience installing/troubleshooting printers, scanners, and network/local printer setups
  • Familiarity with PowerShell or batch scripting; IT automation knowledge is a plus
  • Strong communication, customer service mindset, patience, and ability to follow structured procedures

Pay Range: $25.00 - $28.00/hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
