The Role
We’re searching for a part-time Marketing Assistant in the St. Louis area to join the Marketing team and work closely with other groups in the organization, such as the customer success team, sales, and company leadership. From day one, this individual will contribute to existing marketing projects and programs, while assisting with the development of new initiatives to build awareness among our target audiences at colleges and universities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about both traditional and digital marketing strategies. They should have strong project management skills, an interest in marketing analytics, and a passion for developing content that resonates with key audiences.
What You’ll Do- Assist in the development and implementation of the organization’s marketing strategy, with a focus on driving awareness and engagement.
- Support online digital marketing and operations projects by ensuring organization, maintenance, and governance.
- Assist with growth marketing campaigns by helping organize lead lists, setting up email sequences, and supporting audience segmentation efforts.
- Support marketing analytics and optimization by tracking basic campaign performance, conducting research on audience trends, and helping with A/B testing and marketing automation tasks.
- Oversee project management of various marketing initiatives.
- Ensure all marketing efforts achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing process improvements.
- Support the maintenance and development of internal tools, including project management systems.
What You Bring- Completed or seeking a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications preferred
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Proficient project management skills
- Excellent oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and all levels of management
- Ability to focus on detail while demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining the accuracy of work
- Proficiency in full Google suite, especially with Sheets, Docs and Slides

The hourly rate for this opportunity is $17.31. This is the base pay. You will be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to the base pay, to be discussed during the interview process.
