About Topline Pro

We’re building AI powered Shopify for service businesses. We help service pros (e.g., roofers, landscapers, painters, cleaners) acquire direct business, fast. Up and running within minutes using Gen AI, our digital storefront products help pros get discovered, trusted, and booked repeatedly.


Topline Pro is co-founded by Nick Ornitz (CEO) and Shannon Kay (CPO) with an excellent team of 50+ rockstars with plans to expand more in 2025. We serve thousands of local service businesses and were named as one of the 2023 and 2024 top 50 Tech Companies building for SMBs.


We're YC-backed and well funded (Series A 2023) with multiple years of runway, and we’ve experienced rapid growth in the past year having grown 6x since our Series A. We're looking for our first full time people operations role.

⚡ What you'll do
  • Re-enforce and Evolve Company Culture – Foster a high-performance, mission-driven culture across our Brooklyn and Boston offices, ensuring alignment with our values as we grow.
  • Recruit & Retain Top Talent – Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract, hire, and retain world-class talent across all functions, optimizing for speed and quality.
  • Drive Leadership Development – Implement programs to develop managers and leaders, ensuring team members have clear career growth opportunities.
  • Optimize Onboarding & Employee Experience – Enhance onboarding, training, and engagement initiatives to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction.
  • Oversee Compensation & Benefits – Develop and manage competitive compensation, equity, and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent while staying aligned with financial goals.
  • Enhance Performance & Feedback Systems – Improve performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and real-time feedback loops.
  • Strengthen Internal Communication & Alignment – Ensure strong communication flows across teams, fostering transparency, trust, and collaboration.
  • Be a Strategic Thought Partner – Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team on all people-related matters, helping to shape the company’s long-term growth strategy.


🎯 What we're looking for
  • 6+ years of experience with people operations and recruiting
  • Experience with subscriptions businesses / SaaS
  • Lots of hustle and willingness to learn new things
  • Ability to move fast, iterate quickly and juggle multiple threads
  • Desire to work with or experience working with small teams in an agile, startup environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Someone eager to learn and grow
