The Program Manager reports to the Senior Director of Workforce Solutions and is responsible for managing and expanding client relationships within the dynamic healthcare industry. Leveraging your expertise in account management and healthcare technology, you will collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of managed services while identifying growth opportunities. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, an adept communicator, and possesses a deep understanding of staffing & technology solutions. This role focuses on fostering strong partnerships with clients, leading sales strategies, and ensuring the delivery of top-notch staffing solutions. The Program Manager will collaborate with internal teams and clients to meet staffing needs while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
Core Functions & Responsibilities
Client and Affiliate Panel Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with healthcare clients, serving as the main point of contact for staffing needs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to the affiliate panel and external staffing agencies by fostering strong relationships and networks, and ensuring they receive a high level of care and attention.
- Understand clients' staffing requirements, business objectives, challenges, and technology needs.
- Conduct regular client meetings to review performance, prepare and present comprehensive reports, address concerns, and identify opportunities for additional staffing solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Address client concerns and issues promptly, collaborating with internal teams to implement effective solutions
- Provide regular updates to clients on service performance, project status, and industry trends
Sales and Business Development:
- Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing client relationships.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional MSP services.
- Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential challenges.
Program Management:
- Oversee staffing programs, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, service-level commitments, client expectations, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the seamless delivery of VMS platform services.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between the recruitment team and clients to meet staffing needs.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and address any areas for improvement.
- Monitor and report on service performance, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
- Develop and execute account plans to drive growth and meet client objectives.
- Provide clients with strategic insights and recommendations based on industry best practices.
- Timely fulfillment of client requisitions, prioritizing internal fills when possible. This includes proactively seeking external affiliate feedback, promoting openings, and keeping clients informed of efforts and progress to ensure high satisfaction.
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver staffing solutions and meet client objectives.
- Mentor and train sales and account management staff on best practices for client relationship management and program execution.
- Stay abreast of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Track and analyze client satisfaction, program performance, and sales metrics to make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on staffing performance, revenue growth, and client feedback for senior leadership.
Required Skills, Abilities, and Education
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of staffing and account management experience.
- Proven account management experience in healthcare staffing or technology services.
- Familiarity with Managed Service Provider models and healthcare technology solutions.
- Strong verbal/written communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry compliance and technology trends.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients/projects and meet sales targets.
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Work Schedule
- In-office with flexibility to work from home with manager approval.
- Travel of 15-20% may be required annually (or semi-annually, depending on client size) for in-person client visits.
