True has an exciting opportunity for a strategic and experienced Integration Manager who will oversee the seamless integration of acquired companies into our organization, aligning operational, cultural and strategic frameworks to ensure a smooth transition and realization of expected synergies. This role is critical to support the growth strategy of a professional services company specializing in engineering and environmental services expected to grow to $500 million in revenue. The ideal candidate will have in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), a strong understanding of the professional services world and the engineering and environmental services markets and a proven track record in managing complex, multi-faceted integration projects.
What you'll doIntegration Planning and Execution:
- Develop and manage detailed integration plans, timelines, and budgets for newly acquired companies.
- Lead cross-functional integration teams, ensuring coordination across departments (e.g., HR, Finance, Operations, IT, and Marketing).
- Assess and address integration risks and challenges, implementing proactive solutions to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Stakeholder Communication and Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the parent company and acquired entities during the integration process.
- Facilitate open and transparent communication with stakeholders at all levels to foster collaboration and trust.
- Provide regular progress updates and reports to senior leadership.
- Cultural and Organizational Alignment:
- Evaluate cultural differences and identify areas of alignment between the parent company and acquired entity.
- Implement initiatives to bridge cultural gaps, including onboarding programs and change management strategies.
Financial and Operational Integration:
- Collaborate with finance teams to consolidate accounting systems, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
- Oversee operational integration, ensuring continuity in service delivery and alignment with corporate standards.
- Identify and drive cost-saving opportunities and revenue synergies.
- Focus on process optimization and consistency.
Performance Monitoring:
- Establish metrics to track the success of integration efforts and the achievement of integration milestones.
- Monitor post-integration performance and recommend adjustments as needed.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Timeliness and effectiveness of integration milestones.
- Employee retention and satisfaction during integration.
- Alignment of operational and cultural objectives post-integration.
Minimum Qualifications- 5 years of experience leading post-merger integrations.
- A proven track record of managing multiple projects, delivering under tight deadlines and meeting organizational goals.
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited institution.
- 5 years of experience leading integrations for an engineering and environmental professional services company.
- Strong business acumen and proven track record in proactively solving complex, cross-functional issues and driving strategic initiatives.
- Proficiency in systems and financial integration tools.
- Experience with change management and financial analysis.
