Business Development Representative

We’re seeking our first Business Development Representative to lead the charge in identifying, engaging, and closing high-value customers and partnerships. The Role

This is more than a sales role—it’s an opportunity to drive revenue, forge strategic partnerships, and help us build the foundation of a world-class business development function. You’ll work closely with the management and product teams to shape our go-to-market approach and refine our processes, all while closing deals and delivering value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify and qualify high-potential prospects through research, networking, and inbound inquiries.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of leads in our target industries.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop tailored pitches and presentations that showcase our value proposition.
  • Conduct product demos, guide prospects through the sales funnel, and close deals.
  • Collaborate with the management team to negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.

Partnership Development

  • Identify and nurture strategic partnership opportunities to expand our market reach.
  • Build relationships with industry influencers, resellers, and potential integration partners.

Market Feedback & Insights

  • Gather insights from customers to shape product development and marketing strategies.
  • Align our product roadmap with real market needs.

Build & Scale the Sales Function

  • Document and refine sales processes for repeatability and scalability.
  • Lay the groundwork for a high-performing sales team as we grow.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience: 3+ years in business development, sales, or a similar role—preferably in a B2B SaaS or technology startup.
  • Start-up Mindset: A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Deep empathy for customer needs, with a proven track record of delivering actionable solutions.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results-Oriented: A history of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Technical Aptitude: Quick to grasp technical concepts, with CRM and sales software experience as a bonus.
  • Team Player: Collaborative, low-ego, and eager to work closely with a mission-driven team.
