Test Automation Engineer

Job Purpose:

This position is a technical role within the software development organization focused on enhancing our development process trough Automation testing of product features, bugs & enhancements. This role must have a solid understanding of the firm’s business, the product development lifecycle and experience implementing enterprise-class software.   In this role, you should have an eye for detail and an ability to analyze the functionality of our products. If you are a passionate engineer with a never-ending desire for success, for finding issues before they arrived at the end customer and for being able to be teach other team members, we’d like to meet you!

 The individual must be driven to achieve results and be proactive. They will be expected to independently anticipate and handle most issues before they become problems and not let things get in the way of achieving the company’s goals.

 Ultimately, you will design and write high quality tests for our products.

• Design and write high quality test scripts
• Create tooling to assist manual QA engineers
• Report bugs to the development team quickly and in a way easy to reproduce.
• Write test cases for new products and features
• Review and analyze product requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IS, IT or related field
• Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to work independently and develop solutions to problems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience working both with peers and more senior executives
• Desired English Level
• Exposure to the FinTech industry desired

• 5+ years of experience on similar roles.
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Analytical mind and problem-solving skills
• SQL server experience is a must.
• Experience with AWS (Codepipeline, Codebuild, Lambda, S3 among others)
• Experience on test automation tools (Selenium, Serenity, Webdriver, Cucumber, JMeter, Postman, JUnit, PHPUnit, TestNG ).
• Desirable experience with Serverless Framework or Serverless Architectures.
